Job description

As Virtuagym keeps on growing, we are now looking for a new face to complement our Marketing team. As a CRO & Website Developer, you will be responsible for optimizing and scaling our marketing website to drive conversions, enhance user experience, and improve performance across markets. Will you join us in our quest to create a healthier and happier world?

Join a high performing team and make an impact!

We're a passionate, driven team with a strong focus on growth and delivering outstanding results. At Virtuagym, we cultivate a high-performance culture built on dedication, ownership and driving excellence. If you're a self-starter who embraces challenges, thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and keeps going where others might stop, this could be the perfect role for you! In return, you’ll join a team where you can grow, develop, and truly unlock your full potential.

We have a beautiful office in the center of Amsterdam and while we foster getting together to exchange ideas and energy, we are a remote-friendly company. This is a remote position in Spain where you will be working for our global teams.

What the role looks like
As CRO & Website Developer, you’ll be the driving force behind the performance, experimentation, and continuous improvement of our marketing website. This is a hands-on role where you’ll blend technical development with conversion optimization — building new components, running experiments, and improving key metrics like conversion rate, site speed, and user engagement.

You’ll work closely with your colleagues in the marketing team to turn data into action — and make our website a key growth engine across all regions. If you thrive at the intersection of code, UX, and performance data, this role gives you the autonomy, tools, and impact to do your best work. We are looking for a full-time employee.

Some of your key tasks

  • Take full technical ownership of our marketing website — built with Hugo, hosted on Netlify, and managed via CloudCannon CMS — ensuring smooth deployments from staging to production.

  • Drive continuous conversion rate improvement across the site by planning, executing, and analyzing A/B and multivariate tests on high-impact pages.

  • Own key website KPIs, monitoring and improving site performance, scalability, and accessibility across devices, with a focus on Core Web Vitals and UX best practices.

  • Analyze behavior and performance data using GA4, Hotjar, and Lighthouse to identify friction points and opportunities.

  • Stay on top of website design and functionality trends to ensure our site remains best-in-class for lead generation and user experience.

Job requirements

What you will bring to the team

  • 3+ years of front-end development experience, with strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills and hands-on experience with Git workflows and static site generators (ideally Hugo).

  • Deep understanding of website conversion funnels and analytics, with a proactive, data-driven approach to experimentation and optimization.

  • Familiarity with GA4, Hotjar, Lighthouse, VWO (or similar), and a strong sense of ownership over site performance and CRO outcomes.

  • Experience with CloudCannon CMS and managing integrations with marketing tools like FormAssembly, HubSpot, and Salesforce.

  • A strong sense of ownership — you’re comfortable leading initiatives from concept to deployment, and consistently drive impact without needing to be told where to focus.

  • A growth mindset and curiosity for evolving best practices in UX, CRO, and web development within a lead generation funnel context.

Important note: please do apply if you meet 70%+ of the criteria. At Virtuagym we hire great people, not just resumes. If you can't check off a few requirements but are a fast learner, we’d love to hear from you!
