As Virtuagym keeps on growing we’re looking for a Team Lead of our Account Management team. This is a lead by example role which will gradually move into a full people management position as you scale your team. The main goal of your team is to grow their book of business through upsell strategies, as well as to retain their customer base and increase customer happiness. This is a remote position (within the Netherlands), where you will be working for our Amsterdam office. We are looking for a full-time employee. We are a remote-friendly company, meaning you can work from your home at all times within the Netherlands. Additionally, you can work from any location you want within Europe up to 4 weeks at a time for a maximum of 12 weeks in a year.

What this role looks like
You will work closely together with our sales and CS leaders to build our very first account management (sales) team. Your goal is to grow our expansion revenue globally by implementing strategies to upsell extra modules to our existing customers base. Based on data and market research you will identify in which market to expand your team and which products to focus on. This also means that you will be heavily involved in cross departmental projects that impact the success of Account Management.
Some of your key tasks
Take full ownership for the global implementation and success of Account Management within Virtuagym.
Lead by example to drive expansion revenue to experience first hand what works and what not.
Work closely together with our CRO to set OKRs for your department.
Define processes and procedures for your AM team.
Hire, train and support the AM team.
Work with the operations team to improve our toolstack.
Create a forecast and set targets to grow expansion revenue.
Keep track of results and report on them.
Be the go to person within the company for customer expansion revenue.
2+ years of experience in sales or account management.
2+ years Experience in a leadership position.
A strong understanding of the health and fitness industry.
Strong project management skills.
You are very detailed oriented, but you can also zoom out and see the big picture.
Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment.
Experience working in a high velocity B2B (SMB) environment.
Excellent telephone manner, experience selling over the phone.
Strong presentation skills and high interest in tech.
Full professional fluency in Dutch or German.
Full professional fluency in English.
Value feedback and thrive on constant improvement and learning.
Strong work ethic, and a self-driven desire to succeed.
