Enterprise Sales Engineer - Europe
Are you looking for a challenging role in an international company, located in Amsterdam, with lots of growth potential? We are now looking for a Sales Engineer - Europe to join our new enterprise focussed team in our efforts to make the world a healthier and fitter place.
You will be the front line of Virtuagym’s enterprise sales team, where we target larger fitness chains around Europe and the Americas such as Basic Fit, the YMCA’s and Xercise4less. As our enterprise sales team is growing very quickly, we are looking for ambitious and proactive Sales Engineer to help remove the technical barriers of our prospects and enhance customer readiness of our product. As an enterprise Sales Engineer, you will be the subject matter expert and the technical liaison for the enterprise sales team in Europe. Your goals is to deeply understand the prospect’s business and technical needs, and to translate those into our software solution. Working very closely together with Development, Key Account management and Partnerships. Optimizing and implementing sales processes (such as tenders and pilots) in collaboration with the Sales Manager is also part of this role.

Our Enterprise Sales Team is focused managing an end to end sales process that targets the biggest players in the gym space and matches their needs with our product offerings. Sales Enablement 85%
Support the sales process with detailed technical knowledge of all of our products including the security and architectural aspects of our platform
Work closely together with all the enterprise Account Executive (tag-teaming) to target enterprise accounts to enable the closing of deals and grow our enterprise market share
Work with prospective customers to proactively lead various guided trials (“Customer Experience Programs”), customized where necessary, and crafting personalized experiences and messages to help prospective customers see the value of being a Virtuagym customer.
Produce high quality collateral for prospective clients and as necessary work closely with different departments to create materials to support the sales process
Work with the Product Consultant/Product Team to ensure the product meets complex client requirements (e.g., integrations, large-scale deployments, etc.) and bringing them in where necessary.
Supports collaboration with the Product team to submit custom requirements and feature requests through the Triage process. Proactively tracks the status of requests through to resolution
Take lead role on technical sections of proposals
Take lead role in responding to any IT Security Questionnaires (including RFIs & RFP’s)
Projects and Ad-Hoc Support 15%
Training the enterprise team on deeper product knowledge
Help build a scalable way to demo our products to help a growing Enterprise Sales team be effective and consistent
Work with team to improve processes as needed
Work closely with the head of enterprise sales to optimize sales processes
Proactively communicate with Key Account management and Product team to advise on technical needs/issues on an as needed basis
Who are you?
0,5 - 2 years experience in Saas/software (preferable experience with Virtuagym)
Eager to learn new skills
Bachelor's degree required
Commercial, practical and result driven personality
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Listens to both what the prospect is and isn’t saying and knows how to position our products appropriately
Independent and proactive
Enthusiastic and persistent
