What you will work on with your team

Being a Product Manager at Virtuagym, you will be responsible for the overall success of your focus domain, by helping develop the strategy, managing stakeholders and communication. As such, you will be working closely together with the other Product Managers, the Product Design team, and Product Development. Furthermore, you will have regular contact with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, integration partners, our service teams for our SME and Enterprise divisions, the Commercial team and our two co-founders, who are still very much involved in our product strategy.
As Product Manager for the COACH and ENGAGE product domains, you will be responsible for the vertical of products used by coaches and end-users in their journey to get and stay healthy and fit. These domains include features like Workout Tracking, Training Videos, Nutrition, Community, Challenges, Wearable integrations, and more! These products are used by thousands of coaches and personal trainers and millions of end-users every day, so you can truly make a positive impact on people’s health journey through the power of our technology.
It is your responsibility as a PM to combine industry knowledge, customer insights, data, business priorities and competitor insights to help make well-informed decisions about the roadmap and strategy within your domain. You will work closely with multiple development teams, as well as dedicated product designers and a product operations specialist to ship as much value to our customers as possible.
As our new Product Manager you will join a smart bunch of team players, all eager to share their knowledge and to keep on learning, to deliver beautiful and functional products, and to have fun. Some of your key tasks will be
Own the product vision for your domain;
Execute on your domain’s product strategy;
Manage your domain’s roadmap;
Take an active role during the shaping of ideas and new products;
Create and refine user stories together with your teams;
Interact with customers and internal stakeholders to understand challenges, determine priorities and manage expectations;
Establish clear requirements and alignment for future opportunities;
Stay up to date with new developments that involve your domain;
Drive the product by being the domain expert.
What you will bring to the team
Product experience at a software development company, in example as a product owner, product manager or UX/UI designer;
You are tech savvy and interested in technology and software development in general;
You have an entrepreneurial mindset;
You love being part of a creative process, making beautiful products;
Good communication and interpersonal skills are needed;
You have a strong affinity with the health and fitness industry and keep in touch with market trends;
Solid understanding of software development processes;
You value an informal international work environment;
Finally, you have strong communication skills in English, our company language. Dutch is not required.
