As our Key Account Manager you are responsible for relationship management of several of our most important accounts, such as large-scale gym chains operating on an international level. This full-time role is focused on the Benelux region.

How life at Virtuagym will be

As Key Account Manager, you'll be joining an agile team: after the daily stand-up, you'll tackle your daily priority list. On your agenda for the day is a catch-up with one of your accounts to align on the next steps in the implementation of their own app, built by our Product Development team. After a great call you'll move on to speaking with a Product Owner to discuss newly launched exciting features for your accounts. Next on the agenda is an onboarding call for a recent addition to your account portfolio. You'll wrap up the day by planning for the upcoming industry event Virtuagym is hosting in Amsterdam, where you'll be representing the company.

Some of your key tasks will be

  • Be responsible for direct account management of several Key Accounts of our business, with a focus on the Benelux region;

  • Ensure that the business goals the accounts have in mind with our software solution are met;

  • Act as a liaison between our Product Development team and the Key Accounts;

  • Next to post-sale account management, also participate in activities of the sales process together with Enterprise Sales team;

  • Be involved in process optimization within the Key Account team;

  • Represent Virtuagym at industry events and fairs.


What you will bring to the team

  • Preferably you have 1-3 years of client-facing experience through an account management or sales position;

  • Preferably you are a native speaker of Dutch, and fluent in English;

  • You are a great communicator and a true relationship builder, and you are able to build rapport and establish credibility with account stakeholders;

  • You are proud of your solid project management skills, and are comfortable with steering your projects in a fast-changing environment;

  • You have a strong attention to detail, drive to optimize processes, and the ability to assess account needs and identify gaps;

  • You like working independently, but are also motivated to bring the team to a higher level;

  • You have an enthusiastic and persistent personality - you like to get things done;

  • You hold a Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent;

  • You hold a valid work permit for the Netherlands.

  • Have worked in a SaaS organisation;
  • Love the fitness industry;
  • Speak multiple languages in addition to Dutch and English.
