Our Medellín office started in the north part of the city in an amazing and eco-friendly building called Ruta N, known as a center of innovation for the city. It was created by the city to promote the development of innovative technology-based businesses. After two years of significant growth, we have moved our office to the lush hillside of the upscale El Poblado neighborhood with amazing views of the entire city and easy access to Medellin’s most influential commercial centers. Our primary focus from the Medellín office is to manage the North and South American market.
What It’s All About
As an HR officer, it is an essential part of the Medellín of the growth and development of the Medellín office. This person plays an essential role in ensuring that all the conditions for colleagues to perform well are perfectly organized.
As an HR Officer you will be involved in the following activities:
Preparing and amending where necessary HR documents (Employment contracts and recruitment guides)
Reviewing and renewing company policies and legal compliance
Being the first point of contact for employees on any HR-related queries
Assisting with payroll by providing the department with relevant employee information, i.e. holiday and sick days taken
Assist with performance management procedures
Maintaining employee records and paperwork
Administer internal HR software ( People HR, Bamboo HR)
Assist with payroll and ad hoc HR projects
Monitor our benefits program
Day to day Health and safety management for our office to ensure Virtuagym Health and safety compliant with legal obligations
4+ years of background in Human Resources
Bachelors degree required; preferably Business Administration, Human Resources, or related fields
Proactive and dynamic
Strong written and verbal communication skills in:
English (Native language)
People-oriented and result-driven
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
Good understanding of labour laws
