As Virtuagym keeps on growing, we are now looking for a new face to complement our People team. As HR Business Partner in the People team, you will be responsible for driving people initiatives and being a trusted advisor to the business to make the organization sustainable. This is a remote position (within the Netherlands), where you will be working for our Amsterdam office. We are looking for a full-time employee (part time can be discussed). We are a remote-friendly company, meaning you can work from your home at all times within the Netherlands. Additionally, you can work from any location you want within Europe up until 4 weeks at a time for a maximum of 12 weeks in a year.

Some of your key tasks as HR Business Partner

  • Be a trusted advisor and train and develop the leadership team on people management topics and processes.

  • Lead projects and change processes based on people management indicators and insights collected from the business;

  • Manage relationships with stakeholders on a strategic and tactical level;

  • Developing initiatives to strengthen the company's culture;

  • Participating in the development or improvement of people management processes;

  • Further expanding the HR analytics needed to drive performance and engagement and to increase retention;

Job requirements

  • 2+ years experience in a tactical/strategic HR position, having dealt with topics such as employee engagement, change management, organizational development and performance development.

  • At least 5 years of experience in a high-energy, fast paced and rapidly changing environment.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills and ability to coach and train leaders on people management topics and processes.

  • Proven success in driving creativity and strong in execution - you’re very hands-on

  • Ability to build trust and credibility with key business partners and all levels of employees across the company.

  • You're a self-starter and have sufficient experience in analyzing business needs and improving HR processes from a business perspective.

The hiring process will consist of:

- A phone or video screening with one of your fellow HR colleagues.

- An interview with our Head of People and Culture, along with another colleague.

- A final interview with the COO and CEO.
