(Commercial) Talent Sourcer

Job description

We are Virtuagym: a leading tech company providing an innovative all-in-one software solution for health professionals ranging from large gyms to personal trainers. This includes exercise, nutrition guidance, progress tracking, and online coaching.

With two offices in Amsterdam and Medellin, 200+ employees, over 15 million end-users, 30,000 trainers and more than 6,000 health clubs worldwide, Virtuagym grows 100% every year. The company culture is informal, dynamic, and fun. We are beyond the start-up phase but still cherish our start-up culture.

Will you join us in our quest to create a healthier and happier world?

What this role looks like:

We are looking for both junior and senior Commercial Talent Sourcers to join our team and manage the first stage of our recruiting process. Your desk is in the recruitment department, but you are more frequently working from a remote desk in the commercial departments so you can easily brainstorm with the hiring managers and understand the dynamics of the department.

As a Talent Sourcer, you use various on- and offline channels to get in touch with potential candidates, and you build talent pipelines for future hiring needs. In short: if you have guts, are driven, love to talk to people, and recruitment is your passion – get in touch with us NOW!

You like to connect talents to business and push limits to get it done. Reaching out to candidates is your way to success; you think the "post and pray method"  of recruitment is outdated. Thanks to being creative, hands-on, and to having guts and a pragmatic mindset, you reach the best talents. Waiting for the perfect plan is not your thing – you like to try things out, and believe the ideal solution will follow. You're eager in getting the job done: you're not going to wait days until good candidates (maybe) apply, but instead you fill those days with searching for and reaching out to suitable candidates. Your recruiter mindset is always on: at the gym, during shopping, or in a restaurant, when you meet someone who is a potential match for Virtuagym, you convince this person on the spot to have a coffee with you next week.

Some of your key tasks:

  • Source, engage and hire A-players for our commercial roles
  • Manage applicants' funnel
  • Build and execute interview plans
  • You are the first point of contact for candidates, and give an enthusiastic pitch while you try to get to know them better
  • Prepare offers, negotiate compensations, and ultimately sign top candidates
  • Your focus is mainly on the Client Success, Business Development, Account Executive and Marketing roles: all roles for which we are looking for young potentials who are hungry and eager to succeed, and have an affinity with the health sector

    Requirements

What you bring to the table

    • You're a go-getter with a lot of energy, and you like meeting targets
    • You love connecting talent to the business, but disagree with the old-fashioned recruitment methods: selling the brand is the new way to go
    • You try things out, and you're not afraid to fail. You believe it is essential to measure the success of your ideas to optimize your initiatives further
    • You have an excellent command of the Dutch language - this role involves reaching out to the Dutch talents waiting to hear about what Virtuagym can offer them
    • You must have at least 2 years of work experience in a commercial environment, preferably in recruitment
    • If you're very experienced in this field, we'd like to get to know you as well: we have several positions available

Here's why we think you should come work with us

    • We offer a full-time contract with solid compensation, free gym membership, weekly Cross-fit and yoga classes, knowledge exchange sessions (pizza included!), fresh fruit in the office, Friday drinks and plenty of other fun events with your colleagues
    • We provide 25 paid holidays per year (based on a full-time contract), holiday allowance and a pension plan
    • You’ll be joining a diverse and international team made up of nearly 40 nationalities across our offices in Amsterdam and Medellin, working in an easy-going and fun environment
    • As a scale-up, we offer great freedom and autonomy to take ownership of projects and to develop your skills and experience with us
    • Our beautiful office in Amsterdam is located along the Knowledge Mile and has stunning views of the city. We’re also just a few minutes walk away from Amstel station, a key transport hub
