As Virtuagym keeps on growing, we are now looking for a new face to complement our Sales team. As Business Development Representative in our Sales team, you will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle. Will you join us in our quest to create a healthier and happier world?
This is a remote position (within Colombia), where you will be working for our Medellin office. We are looking for a full-time employee (part-time can be discussed). We are a remote-friendly company, meaning you can work from your home at all times within Colombia. Additionally, you can work from any location you want up until 3 weeks at a time for a maximum of 12 weeks in a year.

What the role is all about
With your true passion for sales and result-driven mentality, you’re responsible for finding business opportunities and managing customer relationships. You’ll be directly responsible for the preservation and expansion of your own customer base. Your goal is to identify opportunities with prospects and new clients and build them into long-term profitable relationships.
Your responsibilities as Business Development Representative
- Create detailed business plans designed to attain predetermined goals and quotas;
- Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal;
- Prospect new leads through various channels (e-mail, text, cold calling, social selling, etc) and create and maintain a full pipeline;
- Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships;
- Present products to prospective clients;
- Provide professional after-sales support to maximize customer loyalty;
- Remain in regular contact with your clients to understand and meet their needs;
- Respond to complaints and resolve issues to the customer’s satisfaction and to maintain the company’s reputation;
- Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data.
What you will bring to the Sales team
Experience within a client-facing role, either in Sales, Client Success and/or Hospitality;
Commercial, practical and result-driven personality;
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (native-level);
Basic written and verbal communication skills in Spanish (non-mandatory);
People skills and affinity with sales;
Very strong work ethic and a strong sense of self-ownership and responsibility;
Independent and proactive;
Enthusiastic and persistent.
