As Virtuagym keeps on growing, we are now looking for a new face to complement our Information Security & IT team. As our Junior IT Support Specialist, you will provide day-to-day IT support to our international team and help us improve, automate and streamline our internal IT operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has recently graduated and is ready to take the first step in their professional IT career. You will gain hands-on experience with IT support, hardware, software, access management, automation and security while working closely with colleagues across the organisation.

As our Junior IT Support Specialist, you will be one of the first points of contact for colleagues experiencing IT-related questions or issues. You will support employees across our international organisation, troubleshoot hardware and software problems and contribute to improving our internal systems and processes.
You will work closely with the Information Security, People and Operations teams and receive the support you need to further develop your technical skills.
What you will own
First-line IT support: Provide friendly and effective support to colleagues experiencing hardware, software, account or connectivity issues;
Incident resolution: Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes and ensure incidents are resolved or escalated appropriately;
Employee onboarding and offboarding: Prepare laptops, accounts, access rights and other IT resources for new employees, and ensure access is removed securely when colleagues leave;
Hardware and software management: Configure, maintain and keep track of laptops, peripherals, software licences and other IT assets;
Account and access management: Support the administration of user accounts, permissions and access to internal systems;
System maintenance: Assist with updates, configurations and the general maintenance of our IT infrastructure;
Automation and tooling: Identify repetitive IT tasks and help automate processes using scripts, workflows and other tools;
Documentation: Create and maintain clear documentation, support articles and internal IT procedures;
Security support: Follow security best practices and collaborate with the Information Security team to keep our systems and data protected;
Continuous improvement: Proactively suggest improvements to our IT processes, tools and employee experience.
What you’ll bring
A completed MBO 4 or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, System Administration or a related field;
Some practical experience with IT support, system administration or technical troubleshooting, gained through a previous job, internship, traineeship, side job or personal projects;
Familiarity with Windows and preferably macOS;
An interest in automation and a willingness to learn scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python;
A service-oriented mindset and the ability to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical colleagues;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
A proactive, organised and self-motivated attitude;
Professional working proficiency in English;
You like getting things done, taking ownership and are not afraid to get your hands dirty when needed.
