What this role looks like

At Virtuagym, we're all about innovation and efficiency. As a leading provider of fitness and health solutions, we rely on a robust and seamless IT infrastructure. We're looking for a proactive and tech-savvy IT Support Intern to join our team and contribute to our ongoing efforts to automate and optimize our systems starting in Aug / Sept 2026.

What You'll Be Doing:

Hands-on Support: Provide first-line IT support to our team, tackling hardware and software issues with a focus on finding long-term, automated solutions.
Automation Exploration: Assist in identifying repetitive IT tasks and explore opportunities for automation using scripting and other tools.
Scripting & Tooling: Learn and apply basic scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
System Maintenance: Help maintain and update our IT infrastructure, including workstations, software, and network equipment.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create and update clear and concise documentation for IT processes and automation scripts.
Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with our HR and Security teams to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective and secure solutions.
Proactive Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to our IT processes and systems, with a focus on automation.

What We're Looking For:

Currently pursuing or recently completed an MBO4 (or equivalent) in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
A genuine interest in IT support and a passion for automation.
Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking.
Familiarity with Windows and other operating systems.
A desire to learn scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and self-motivated attitude.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Someone who likes to get things done, and does not mind getting their hands dirty.

Bonus Points:

Experience with scripting or automation tools.
Knowledge of Google Workspace
A strong desire to learn and implement new technologies.
